Our Story
A few months ago, I would have told you that quitting artificial sugar was too extreme, maybe even unrealistic. Sugar is everywhere. It’s celebrated, encouraged, rewarded, and rarely questioned. Choosing to step away from sugary foods can feel like opting out of something social, normal, and deeply ingrained.
To make matters worse, most people already know and will readily admit that sugar negatively impacts their health. The real problem isn’t a lack of education, it’s the difficulty of breaking free from sugar cravings. People feel out of control around sugar: they feel conflicted and confused by mixed signals from large companies marketing popular sugar products, and they feel ashamed when they inevitably fall back into old habits.
I felt this personally - after becoming a Certified Nutritionist in 2022, I understood the science behind artificial sugars, but knowledge alone wasn’t enough to change my behavior. I still couldn’t stop consuming my favorite sugary foods and beverages.
Quit Sugar directly addresses this challenge by reframing the experience as experimentation rather than willpower. Our program isn’t about perfection, punishment, or definitively labeling sugar as “bad.” It’s about curiosity - exploring how your body feels, how your energy shifts, how your cravings show up, and what changes when sugar is removed—or simply reduced—from your daily routine. It’s about self-research, not self-denial.
We live in a world with endless studies, headlines, and expert opinions about what we should eat. Yet the most meaningful data point is often overlooked: you. Your body. Your habits. Your sleep. Your health. No study can replace that insight.
This program isn’t one-size-fits-all because sugar doesn’t affect everyone the same way. Some people experience immediate clarity and energy after their first sugar free day. Others feel resistance, discomfort, or surprise. All of it is valid—and all of it is information.
If this idea feels “crazy,” that’s okay. Many worthwhile changes begin that way. Quit Sugar exists for people who are willing to ask questions, experiment, and listen to themselves—even when it goes against the norm. You don’t have to prove anything. You don’t have to commit forever. You just have to be willing to observe and try something new.
That’s where change begins, and we’ll be with you every step of the way.
